All dogs that are bred from have current eye certificates clear of hereditary defects.
All puppy litter screenings to date have been clear of puppy folds.
Puppy folds may disappear later in life but as Prof Bedford the reknown eye specialist confirmed recently, dogs with these must be considered genetically affected and until we have a DNA test for MRD they should not be included in a breeding programme.
